Upcoming Level 1 Referee Course Dates

If you would like to become a qualified referee you must first attend a basic referee course.

The Level 1 Referee courses are hosted by Area Associations and/or individual clubs, they provide an introduction to refereeing, covering the rules of the game, the official referee signals and the latest guidance notes issued by the IKF.

At the end of the Level 1 referee course there is a multiple-choice exam where you will be tested on your knowledge of the rules of korfball.

The dates of the next Level 1 referee courses are as follows:

  • Monday, 01 February 2016 – Norwich, Norfolk
  • Wednesday, 24 February 2016 – Croydon, London (course only)
  • Saturday, 27 February 2016 – Aylesford, Kent
  • Wednesday, 03 March 2016 – Croydon, London (exam only)

If you are interested in attending any of the Level 1 referee courses listed above please contact office@englandkorfball.co.uk to apply for a place.

If you would like to organise a Level 1 Referee Course please speak first with your local referee officer either within your club or area association.
