Members vote at EGM to transition to become a Registered Charity

The results of the England Korfball Association Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on Thursday (24 September 2020) are below.

Following the Annual General Meeting held in February where members gave a strong mandate to transition to become a Registered Charity, the Articles of Association were updated to reflect the current constitution and rules, including reflecting the current voting rights.

In addition to transitioning to become a charity, Members also voted on the proposed amendments to the England Korfball budget, membership and affiliation fees for season 2020/21 as a result of the impact of Covid-19.

Both of the Resolutions passed with significant support from our members.

The England Korfball Board would like to thank all those who in advance of the meeting used the online ballot to cast their vote and also to the Area and Club representatives who attended (virtually) the EGM and voted electronically.
