Korfball wins at the Leeds Beckett University sports awards

Another university sports ceremony and another award for the sport of Korfball! Leeds Beckett University Korfball Club have tonight (9th May) won the ‘University Most Improved Club of the Year’

 

Korfball was shortlisted for the award along with Handball, Motorsport and Water Polo.

 

Speaking exclusively to England Korfball, Leeds Beckett 1st team captain Matt Turner said: “it’s an honour for everyone’s hard work to be recognised by the university, it’s only our 2nd year as a club and Korfball is getting the recognition it deserves”

 

Leeds Beckett University is located in the city of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England has more than 28,000 students and around 3,000 members of staff.
