England Head Coach takes session at University of Nottingham

 

England Korfball Head Coach Dave Buckland today (Saturday, 20 February) led a number of training sessions for the University of Nottingham Korfball team.

 

The “coaching masterclasses” took place at the universities Sutton Bonington campus. In addition to taking a number of training sessions for the squads, Buckland also held a ‘coach to coach’ session.

 

Speaking before the session Buckland said: “It’s a great university, I’m looking forward to the sessions. Student korfball is growing fast and I’m pleased that I can help”

 

The University of Nottingham’s Lizzie McCloud spoke with England Korfball just after the final coaching session of the evening: “We had 45 players take part in the training sessions lead by Dave today, over three sessions – all in preparation for the upcoming BUCS competitions.

 

“The first session was for our 3rd and 4th teams, this was followed by a coaching masterclass and then finally the 1st and 2nd team teams.”
