England complete their final warm-up before Europeans

Last weekend (04 October) the England senior squad travelled over to Belgium to play their last two practice matches before the IKF European Korfball Championships which start on 25 October.

The England team first completed a training session in the sports hall before two matches, the first against Boeckenberg Korfball Club and then against Belgium. England lost both matches 26-14 and 28-16.

The matches were played at Kwik’s indoor sports hall in Merksem, Belgium.

England Coach Dave Buckland said “The Belgium Korfball Federation has been very helpful with this event. They are supplying us with free training and providing lunch and dinner.

“Thank you to Detlef the senior Belgium coach for arranging today’s sessions”
