English official to referee at the IKF U23 World Championships

English referee Dean Woods has been selected by the International Korfball Federation to take part in the forthcoming U23 World Championships in Olomouc, Czech Republic.

 

The England Korfball League referee has been selected along with 8 other referees from across the world to officiate at the World Championships.

 

The IKF U23 World Championships takes place between 09 – 16 July 2016.

 

The last IKF match that Woods, 32, took charge of was the final of the World Championships in Belgium in October 2015.

 

Speaking about the news, England Korfball chairman, Craig Gosling said: “Once again the reputation of England Korfball referees is further enhanced by the appointment of our match officials to the most important competitions in the world”
