BSKA Club Championships

The British Student Korfball Association (BSKA) held it’s annual Club Championships on Saturday 15 March 2014 at the superb House of Sport venue in Cardiff, Wales.

The 2014 edition of the BSKA Club Championships featured 18 teams; including first teams that did not qualify for the British Universities and College Sport (BUCS) Korfball finals and second teams from across the country.

The team from the University of East Anglia managed to go one better than their team at the BUCS Korfball Finals last weekend by winning the final 4-3 against the University of Nottingham.

In their first ever korfball fixture, Bedford University, led by Stan Dunn (Trojans Korfball Club) finished in an impressive fifth position.

Rob Bloomer, chair of the BSKA said: “As always thanks to the organisers, referees players and coaches who made the event what it was”
