England’s Under 16s and Under 19s recently returned from the highly competitive KNKV Challenge tournament in Rotterdam.
The competition features teams from five regions of the Netherlands. The competition provides the Dutch youngsters with a great opportunity to shine in front of squad selectors for the National Under 16 and Under 19 national squads. Teams representing Germany and Belgium completed the line up for the eight squad tournament.
The England Under 16s squad comprised many of those who had recently stepped up to the Under 19 training squad, but were still eligible until December 31st to compete at this age group.

This year provides and exciting opportunity for young players to make the next step in their korfball development and become part of something special, that is an England International Team. With trips planned to Belgium, the prestigious korfball challenge in December and the World Cups at U16 and U19 age groups, there really is something to get excited for young players who want to be involved.
