The EKA is pleased to be able to announce a deal which sees Dutch company Haven Sports (www.havensports.eu) as the official sponsors of England Korfball's top league in 2009/10.
Presenting the Haven Sports Korfball League for 2009/10
The new agreement will increase Haven Sports' presence in the English korfball market, whilst the agreement sees the EKA benefit through a financial payment plus equipment provision.
The relationship has begun well with Haven Sports attending the Premier League Play offs and Championships in May 2009 and the company being pleased with their introduction to English korfball. The Haven Sports Korfball League is set to start on 18th October 2009 - league fixtures will shortly be released.
This is the first major sponsor for an English korfball competition and this is something the EKA will be seeking to develop further.
