A strong Kent team make the final to challenge England
The EKA is pleased to be able to annouce details of the highly anticipated Inter-area competition.
Last year's event saw eight Areas compete in the qualifying event; with the addition of South Midlands Korfball Association this year twelve Areas are eligible to enter.
The qualifying round of this season’s Inter-area competition will take place on Sunday 21st March 2010 at Luton Regional Sports Centre in Luton. The venue has the advantage of three courts, as well as excellent transport links to the regions.
Once again, the top placed teams from the qualifying round will participate in the finals day on Sunday 9th May 2010, again in Luton, alongside representative teams from the home nations. Last year East Midlands, Kent and the North West provided stiff competition for the national teams, and once again this promises to be a day of top level competition, particularly as all the International squads continue with their preparations for the European Championships in October 2010.
All Areas will shortly receive their invitations to the qualifying round, along with competition rules and additional information.
